About Me

I'm a Boston-based software engineer who builds and leads customer-facing products. I currently lead development of the Hub at Quantivly, managing a small team and owning the product end to end. Before that, I built most of the NIH NIDDK Central Repository's Challenge Management Platform. I've worked professionally across the stack, mostly in Python and TypeScript, for 6+ years.

  • Quantivly (2026–present)

    Senior Software Engineer

    • Lead development of the Hub, Quantivly's customer-facing product, with full ownership of its roadmap and delivery
    • Manage a small team of contract engineers; report directly to the CTPO
    • Django backend with a React/TypeScript frontend (MUI), Celery for background jobs, and tests across the stack in pytest, Vitest and Playwright

  • NIDDK Central Repository Challenge Platform (2023–2026)

    Contractor, Blu Omega

    • Built the large majority of the platform end to end, from data model to UI, with React/Next.js on a Spring Boot backend
    • Took it from concept to production; the first public data challenges launched in 2026
    • Implemented the design team's UI designs

  • Trinety Net Lease SaaS (2024)

    Senior Software Engineer (Contract)

    • Used Django, JavaScript, htmx and Bootstrap to develop a net lease property management SaaS solution
    • One of two engineers on the product, working alongside its technical lead to take it to beta
    • Achieved and maintained 100% test coverage
    • Implemented the client's Figma designs

    • Used Django, Vue, and jQuery to build and maintain client-facing and internal software including a Customer Service Portal, and Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
    • Implemented Adobe XD designs

    • Used Django, React, Tailwind, and Web Audio API to create and deploy a unique audio player web app to a cloud environment
    • Implemented the user authentication/registration workflow
    • Took the project from concept to production
